Palette Knife Painting Workshop

Saturday 10 am to 1 pm Painting is all about the paint! Using a palette knife and mediums is a fun and creative technique to explore and add another dimension to your paintings. Whether you are a complete beginner or have some painting experience in this workshop you will explore the possibilities of paint application and painting surface. What you will learn In this workshop, you will learn how to create bold, textured paintings with palette knives and various heavy body mediums. At the end of the session, you will have created a beautifully textured painting with your creative expression! You will be introduced to the unique materials used in building 3-D layers in acrylic painting and how to apply a fat over lean painting sequence, important tips on amazing colour schemes through an introduction to colour theory and the unique ways to create stunning textures with the painting knife.
