These classes are designed to help kids develop creative thought, inspire imagination, encourage self-expression and foster artistic potential. Throughout the term, we discover the world of art through a variety of themes: landscape, portraiture, abstract, still life, figurative art and more. The students will explore a wide variety of art mediums such as: acrylic painting on canvas, drawing and shading with pencils, charcoal, coloured ink, water colours, pastels, mixed media and more…
We encourage our students to participate in local art exhibitions and art prizes. One of our award winning students is Pietro Pelossi (age 11). Pietro won the first prize at The Christmas Story Art Competition, which was exhibited at the Saint Mary Cathedral in 2016. In 2017 our student Anya Radomir (age 10) won the third prize for Endangered Species Children Competition in NSW. Selected out of 600 artwork entries in NSW!
