Our creative days are fun as well as educational, with a focus on learning and developing new artistic skills. The Art Studio is an inspiring creative space, with natural light and ocean views – a great space to make art!
Our team of teachers are all qualified artists, with an extensive experience in teaching children and authorised by the Commission for Children and Young People NSW.
Suitable for age 5 to 12 years old learning new art skills, having fun with friends and going home with lovely creations!
Scenic winter painting – Learn painting technique with acrylic on canvas: colour mixing, blending and details with small brushes.
Winter trees – Drawing trees with pastel on paper
Clay creations – Let’s get inspired by the beautiful and strong polar bear and learn how to sculpt it with clay. After drying we will paint it in wintery colours
Drawing comics – Learn how to draw winter comics fun at the ski resort
Friendship painting – Make a friendship painting with your favourit animal and add colourful patterns with acrylic on canvas
Manga Comics – Learn how to draw your own Japanese Manga comics characters
Painting winter fun – Everyone loves a hot cuppa in winter! Let’s have fun with patterns and colours and mixed media with drawing and painting yummy hot chocolate mugs : )
Colourful insects -draw there little creatures with ink and pastels on paper: bugs, spiders, bees, butterflies and dragonflies too!
Clay creations – making clay penguins is so much fun! Learn how to sculpt with clay and paint them with acrylic paint.
Animal Illustration – Inspired by the artist July Vivas and her unique style for animals sketching with coloured pencils and watercolour on paper
Drawing animals at night – some animals only get out at night. Let’s capture them in our drawings with soft pastel on black paper.
Clay porcupines – Making fun pencil holder porcupines and painting them with acrylic paint
Painting ocean and boats – with coloured ink on paper – ocean. waves, storms and old boats.
Winter watercolours– learn how to paint with watercolour, blending and adding various effects. Then details with small brushes for the trees.
Penguin collage – Let’s have fun with collage, cutting, pasting, painting and drawing with pastels and watercolours
Painting horses – Painting colourful horses with acrylic paint on canvas. Learn how to draw step by step, then make your own painting.
Drawing Jelly fish – drawing jelly fish in deep ocean with ink and white pastel on paper
Bonsai dog clay creations – let’s make cool bonsai dogs from clay. You will get a little plant to put inside too : )
Drawing snow animals – learn how to draw animals in the snow with oil pastels and ink
Special family workshop – A new creative workshop for parents and kids to get creative together. This is an acrylic pouring fun and interactive workshop where you will play together with pouring paint and creating beautiful patterns and colours. This workshop is guided by artist Teresa Small with a step by step approach to making your own family artistic paintings.
