Drawing is our second nature. We all have our own handwriting and energy in the mark we make on paper. In this experimental drawing course we will get to think out of the square and try various ways of drawing using wet and dry drawing materials.

This course includes all the materials for you to start on your creative journey.

Learn how to draw with pencils and shading techniques, charcoal on textured paper, coloured ink, pastels and mixed drawing media. Suitable for beginners as well as intermediate level.

When: Tuesday & Thursday evening from 7:30 to 9:30 pm

• To draw a range of subject matters including: landscape, buildings and composition, still life objects, figurative drawing and abstract.
• How to observe your subject and draw using line, shape, tone and volume
• Learn about proportions and perspective
• Find your own mark making, texture and qualities of line
• Broaden your knowledge of the possibilities of creating finished art works with drawing
